Illegal Afghan migrants are storming the Carpathians

Yesterday, border guards of the Chop Detachment arrested another group of illegal migrants trying to illegally enter the EU. 

There were five detainees. During the initial questioning they said that they were citizens of Afghanistan, but could not prove it with documents. Also, the travelers said that Slovakia, as well as Ukraine, were supposed to be transit countries on their way to Western Europe.

The offenders were brought to the station in order to clarify the circumstances of the offense and make administrative and procedural documents. The decision on the further fate of the detainees will be determine by court.

By the way, citizens of Afghanistan have tried to illegally get to Slovakia four times over the last month. During this period, Chop border guards have detained 17 immigrants from this country.
