How employees of the Slovak Consulate planted Christmas fir trees (PHOTOS)
In Uzhgorod forestry, they were planting white fir trees. Christmas trees. "But they will become Christmas trees in about eight years" - the director of Uzhgorod forestry Ivan Kostiv said.
Now they are just seedlings grown from seeds. This is not the first such event. Green beauties, planted earlier, have already grown up a bit.
The head of Kamyanytsya Village Council Maria Koval-Mazyuta also took part in the event. This is not just a formal part, since in the village there is a school forestry who prepare bright wall newspapers for the forestry, together with forestry professionals learn to plant trees, care for them.
Interestingly, the Slovak consulate also joined the event. They came to work with great enthusiasm. The Consul General of Slovakia Janka Buryanova says that it's a very good deed. Moreover, the opportunity to be in this environment comes not often. So, after the office work, troubles with visas, this work was real joy for them.
And, in the forestry they opened the collection of minerals - the material our mountains are made of. There is also a natural fountain here, supplied by gravity with water from the mountains. And later, the guests visited the ecological trail. Endangered plants of the Carpathians, which are listed in the Red Book, were found there.
