Google maps led Georgians to border guards

During the implementation of the special measures to combat illegal immigration, Chop border guards detained "seekers of happiness" that were trying to illegally enter the EU.

The offenders reported that they came from Georgia, but had no documents to confirm their words. Also, they said that they were going to Slovakia and from there planned to get to the UK. By the way, they planned their route across Ukrainian-Slovakian border using the online service Google maps.

The offenders were brought to the station in order to clarify the circumstances of the offense and make administrative and procedural documents. The decision on the further fate of the detainees will be determine by court.
