Employees of the “Construction Mechanization Department” JSC will be paid their wages

The court granted the appeal of the Uzhgorod prosecution office on enforcement of payment of almost 70,000 UAH wage arrears to employees of the "Construction Mechanization Department" JSC.

It was preceded by the collective appeal to the prosecutors of Uzhgorod by 20 employees of the "CMD" JSC on non-payment of their salaries. It was established that employees had not been paid salaries for months, and the total amount of arrears was more than 70,000 UAH. Therefore, the prosecution of Uzhgorod, being the protection of the legitimate rights and interests of citizens, in accordance with Art. 36-1 of the Law of Ukraine "On Prosecutor’s Office" and Art. 121 of the Constitution of Ukraine, appealed to Uzhgorod city and district court in Transcarpathian region to issue writs for enforcement of payment of wage arrears to the employees. Currently, the city prosecutor’s office is controlling the process of enforcement of court orders on repayment of salaries.
