According to Uzhgorod residents, corruption hampers the city beautification (POLL)

Right now, at the press center "Transcarpathia", they are announcing the results of the study on the city landscaping. According to one of the initiators of the research, sociologist Victor Pashchenko, questionnaires showed: people believe that the improvement of the city is hampered mostly by corruption (54.2%) and incompetent government (33.8%).

Also they noted that 24 percent of interviewees opposed any reconstruction of Narodna Square, and 36% - that under the Pavley's project. 28% supported the Oleg Olashyn's project (or rather, visualization), recently published online.

Pashchenko says: in any case, the results show that the government has not studied the issue of the reconstruction of the square and the opinion of the community about it.
