Vilkul will visit Tereblya instead of Yanukovych

On Tuesday, November 19, the Vice Prime Minister of Ukraine Oleksandr Vilkul will come to Transcarpathia for an official visit.

          At 9.40 in the village of Tereblya in Tyachiv district, he will hold a meeting on the commissioning of the new residential complex for residents of Transcarpathian village Solotvino where an emergency situation occured because of the collapse of soils and flooding of salt mines. By the order of the President, the state aid was provided: new houses and all the basic social infrastructure facilities were built – the press-center of the RSA reported.

          The program of the trip includes a review of the school and the pre-school in the new residential complex in Tereblya and the buildings built for the relocation of residents of Solotvino from the area of expected ​​ground deformation. 

Note: The first destructions in the village of Solotvino began in 2004.Then landslide and karst processes spread over the whole village. Currently, destructive processes continue. Dangerous deformations of the earth surface are constantly progressing and growing in size and scope. Homes, medical and educational institutions, networks of central water supply and drainage, power lines, some roads are in the danger zone.
