Little time is left to the onset of winter, so Transcarpathian traffic police strongly recommends that drivers prepare their vehicles for use in the winter.
Recommendations for the cold season include using winter tires, testing of brakes, external lights, heating and cooling systems and, of course, strict compliance with traffic rules. So, make sure that snow, blizzards and ice do not catch you by surprise. In the first days of winter, the risk of traffic accidents increases.
Transcarpathian regional traffic police ask drivers to be especially careful during bad weather. Heavy rain, snow, sleet, fog significantly impede the movement of cars, so one has to be very careful under poor weather conditions. Use safety belts, keep safe distance, do not exceed the speed limit, drive with low beam headlights or fog lights enabled. Remember to follow the weather forecasts, do not neglect warnings of the traffic police.
