In Uzhgorod, dangerous robber was sentenced to four years
Recently Uzhgorod City ans District Court sentenced 22-year-old T. to four years in prison for committing the theft and robbery.
During the investigation it was found out that in April 2013 the defendant, damaging the front door, had entered one of the apartments in Uzhgorod, and tried to steal money from there. However, he failed to finish the offense because he heard a noise in the hallway and ran away. The defendant did not stop on that and the next day broke into another apartment in Uzhgorod. The offender stole from the flat a digital camera and money. And September 1st, the defendant, being in an apartment on Sobranetska street, stole from a citizen K $ 500, using physical force against the victim. Moreover, it was found out during the preliminary investigation, that the defendant threatened the victim and his family with physical harm if he reports the incident to the police. By the above offenses the defendant breached Part 3 of Art. 185, Part 2 of Art.15, Part 2 of Art. 186 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine (theft and robbery).
During the trial he fully admitted his guilt, and Uzhgorod City and District Court sentenced him for committed for crimes to four years in prison.
