Yesterday, the chief of a mobile patrol unit of the "Druzhba" pipeline reported to Slalyava District Police that in the field, at a distance of 4 kilometers from the village of Suskovo in Slalyava region at a depth of 1.1 meter, they had found an unauthorized old tie-in in the "Druzhba" pipeline that belongs to the public joint stock company "UkrTransNafta." A valve of 50 mm in diameter with a rubber hose connected to it was embedded in the pipe.
No oil leaks and threats of environmental pollution were detected.
