Voter turnout at the by-election in the Transcarpathian Regional Council reached 15%

According to representatives of the United Center, who are at the polling stations, as of 12.00, voter turnout in the region amounted to almost 15%. Thus, nearly 17,000 countrymen has benefited their voting right.

The most active voters are in Mukachevo (constituency number 5). Here, more than 20 percent have voted.

Voter turnout in constituency number 22 (Vynogradiv district) - 9.47%; constituency number 29 (Irshava district) - 15.03%; constituency number 36 (Mukachevo district) - 12.7%; constituency number 51 (Uzhgorod district) - 16.66% .

All polling stations in the Transcarpathian region on the day of the midterm election to the regional council opened on time. In total, more than 117 thousand residents of the region, who are entitled to vote, are included in the voters list. 45 candidates run for five vacant seats in the regional council.
