Uzhgorod deputies changed the structure of the executive committee according to the mayor's wishes

Today, March 29, members of the city council voted to exclude from the executive committee the First Deputy Chairman of Uzhgorod City Executive Committee - the venerable veteran Fedir Vovkanych, head of the USPP Margarita Moschak, member of the "Batkivshchyna" party Oleksandr Volosyansky, medic Nadiya Kholodnyak.

Member of the City Council Victor Shchadey said that it was a politically motivated decision - the Mayor Victor Pogorelov wants to get rid of those who disagree with his plans on Uzhgorod.

In respose to that the mayor said that the quota for "Batkivshchyna" members was adhered - in the executive committee there is the chief doctor of the city
hospital Ivan Kurakh.

So now there are 14 members of the executive committee, and no new members will be accepted. They included only a new head of the city police - ex officio, and the First Deputy Mayor Vitaly Semal refused to be a member of the executive committee, since he is a deputy.
