Transcarpathians treat allergy at the wrong time and at the wrong specialists
Most Transcarpathians with allery suffer from allergic rhinitis, and then - from asthma and hay fever, but they turn to specialists mostly for urticaria and agioneurotic edema - Transcarpathian regional allergist Bohdana Buleza announced today, March 19, at the press conference.
According to the regional allergist, many cases of allergies are not diagnosed and do not fall into the statistics because patients treat pathology at narrow specialists: otolaryngologists, pulmonologists and others. Overall, in Transcarpathia there are 5.4% of allergic persons per 10 thousand people. Of these, asthma comprises 0.33%.
