Three days after the attack on tourists, Ledyda suddenly remembered that he should be outraged

  - No violence is justified, and especially if it is committed because of political ambitions and is directed against members of ethnic minorities, and even children - the head of Transcarpathian Regional State Administration Oleksandr Ledyda commented on the recent incident with the attack on the Hungarians in Uzhgorod. - Transcarpathia is a tolerant region, over the centuries people of different nationalities have lived in peace and harmony here. I hope that such incidents, which occurred in Uzhgorod, will never happen again.

Also the head of the region stressed out that he shared the outrage of Hungarian community with the above incident, and asked the prosecutor to take the case under control, to ensure an impartial investigation and punish those responsible.
