The Mayor of Chop was praised to Ledyda while Pogorelov was blamed
In the Transcarpathian Regional Administration the economic and social development of the Transcarpathia in 2012 was finally summed up. The corresponding order was signed by the governor last week.
The document covers also problematic issues for the region. Thus, it is said that during 2012 the works of construction companies amounted to 379.5 million hryvnias, which in comparison with previous prices constituted 74.3% of all the constructions in 2011.
Compared to 2011, there was a decrease of passengers transport by 1.5%. Foreign trade in goods and services decreased by 0.3%. Export of goods and services decreased by 1.1 percent.
As of January 1, 2013 the debt payable to the Pension Fund amounted to 25.7 million hryvnias, and increased by 12.9% comparing to the beginning of 2012.
The document noted positive changes in the socio-economic sphere that were achieved by Chop Mayor, Uzhgorod and Svalyava district administration heads. This data is evidenced by indicators of performance in the districts and cities of the region for 2012.
However, the governor acknowledged the unsatisfactory results in Uzhgorod city.
