The coffee capital has its own stamp

To create their own stamp - such was an assignment for all first year students, who are studying tourism at the Faculty of Geography and defend their term papers. Now such assignment is performed not only by freshmen students. Vice Rector of UzhNU Fedor Shandor told this to Varosh

"Every student, in defense of their term, undergraduate or graduate thesis, presents a new stamp, printed by the Ukrposhta in small series, thus making its a collectible value," - Fedir Shandor says.

In the last series of post stamps they printed a "coffee stamp" depicting a cup of espresso and inscription "Transcarpathian coffee."

It should be noted that the image offered by a student to print is not a stamp in the ordinary sense of the term, because in itself it has no payment value. The picture is just a coupon to the standard post stamp and is separated from it with perforation. Such combination in philately is called "a stamp with a coupon."

On Transcarpathian "stamps" they have already depicted the Festival of Honey, the Parade of Brides, Uzhgorod regatta, cherry blossom, a popular cycling event "Night Ride" and many other travel topics.
