Prosecutor: the management of "Zatysyansky chemical plant" did not pay wages

Vynogradiv District Prosecutor's Office during the inspection revealed that officials of "Zatysyansky chemical plant" PJSC have over 243,000 UAH wage arrears to 134 employees.

According to the Vynogradiv district prosecutor Valery Chernychko, the management of the private company, performing works on extraction of clay and kaolin, used hired labor of 134 persons. Ignoring the requirements of the labor law and the Law of Ukraine "On remuneration", having available funds, from August to September 2012 the enterprise unreasonably failed to pay their wages. Total wage arrears are more than 243,000 UAH. 

         Thus, March 15, the information about the criminal offense was entered into the URPI classified under Part 1 of Art.175 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine (unfounded unpaid wages - punishable by imprisonment for up to two years, fine of five hundred to one thousand tax-free minimum incomes, or correctional labor for up to two years).

 Vynogradiv District Prosecutor instructed Vynogradiv district police department to conduct preliminary investigation. The course of the preliminary investigation is taken under control of the district prosecutors.
