In Transcarpathia, the regional budget has not been fulfilled for the first time in 10 years

In 2012 Transcarpathian region did not fulfill the regional budget. The general fund of the regional budget received almost 262,595,000 UAH, which is 96.5% of the approved figure. Primarily it is caused by the fact that in Transcarpathia business goes "in the shadow".

Thuss, last year, 82 enterprises of the region, which in 2011 had paid to the regional treasury nearly 5 million hryvnias, were closed. Also a lot of companies significantly reduced the number of employees, hence, the revenues from the tax on personal income also reduced.

In the past year, there were problems with the use of the already allocated funds. The worst situation was with the roads. Out of 32.5 million allocated for road repairs, the region was able to use only 19 million, or 59.3% of funds. The same situation is with capital expenditures for construction. Slightly more than half of the allocated funds have been used.

Last year, the worst situation was in agriculture. Out of the funds provided for the protection and rational use of land, only 15% have been used.

Out of the allocated 270,000 UAH for the programs of Social Services for Family, Youth and Sports, less than half of the funds have been used.

Boarding schools in Transcarpathia were also underfinanced. Out of 59 million hryvnias, allocated for their maintenance, in the region they used only 53 million.

However, Transcarpathian officials did not underfinanced themselves. Out of the allocated funds for state administration, 99.8% have been used!
