In 2012, five Transcarpathians suffered anaphylaxis caused by insects, 2 - caused by drugs
Last year in Transcarpathia, seven cases of severe allergic complication - anaphylaxis - among adults were recorded. This was reported today, March 19, by the regional allergist Bohdana Buleza.
Of those, 5 cases were caused by insect allergies (insect bites), and another two - by a reaction to medication. Fortunately, there were no fatal consequences. Meanwhile, no cases of anaphylactic shock among children were recorded.
