By the end of June at the Hungarian-Ukrainian crossing point "Zahony" (Ukrainian – "Tisa") the traffic will be carried out in a modified mode. This was reported by Ukrinform with reference to the National Tax and Customs Administration of Hungary (Nemzeti Ado-ES Vamhivatal – NAV).
From mid-March to the end of June there will be the reconstruction of infrastructure there, so the traffic lanes on both sides of the border will be blocked. Because of possible congestion, the Hungarian party recommends that travelers choose other border crossing points.
In particular, drivers of passenger cars can choose "Lovnya" ("Dzvinkove"), "Barabash" ("Kosino"), "Berehshuran" ("Luzhanka"), "Tisobeych" ("Vylok").
For freight transport there are no alternatives to "Zahony" on the Hungarian-Ukrainian border.
