Today, activists around the world stand to protect the Carpathians from building small hydroelectric power plants. Residents of 60 cities of Ukraine, many European countries, UK, USA, Canada and even Lebanon and Hawaii with photographs show their support for the people of Ivano-Frankivsk region, who are fighting against the construction of small hydropower plants on mountain rivers.
The collection of pictures against small hydropower plants must demonstrate the management of the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD) how unacceptable their intention to finance the construction of small hydropower plants in the Carpathians are so that the bank dropped the project.
