Facebook launched a new format of newsfeed

Facebook users can now view multiple feeds for different types of content: friends' messages, photos, subscriptions.

The world's largest social network Facebook is launching a new format of user's newsfeed with the capability to filter messages by type of content and increased number of visual elements, the founder and CEO of Facebook Mark Zuckerberg announced at the press conference on Thursday, March 7, reported ZN.UA.

Now users can view multiple feeds for different types of content. For example, you can view all friends' messages in chronological order, only photos or messages on listened music, and messages only from subscribed pages.

In addition, in the new user's newsfeed developers changed the way of presentation of the content, preferring a larger number of visual elements. In the new newsfeed format, videos and photos will be displayed in a larger size, also photos of users who liked a particular message will be displayed, map fragments, if a user has visited a certain place, and so on.

The new format of newsfeed will be available for some users of the web version on Thursday, then it will be available for others. Changes in the design for the mobile version will be available in a few weeks.

I switched over to the new format and now facebook doesn't work. I can not open photos or videos and the news feed freezes all the time. I have tried over and over to contact face book but they have not answered any on my emails. I want to go back to the old format until they are able to fix this new one. They won't tell me how to go back to the old format.
