Consul General of Hungary in Uzhgorod thanked the chief of Transcarpathian police for the holiday

The Head of the Office of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine in Transcarpathian region, Major General Vasyl Vartsaba received thanks from the Consul General of Hungary in Uzhgorod Jozsef Bachkayi.

March 15, in Transcarpathian region, particularly in Uzhgorod, Mukachevo and Beregovo there were celebrations to mark the national holiday in Hungary - 165th anniversary of the Hungarian Revolution. 39 police officers were involved to ensure law and order at these events. The policemen did their job perfectly - Hungarian community held the celebration without any interference.

"The police officers did their job very well - the letter of the Hungarian consul states. - We could see that the level of relations between the two countries in general and between Hungary and Transcarpathia in particular is extremely important both for you and for the rest of our Ukrainian partners. This is definitely a positive sign."
