The day before yesterday we reported that in Uzhgorod perinatal center within the last two weeks two cases of a newborn death were recorded. Tonight Transcarpathian prosecutors responded to this post.
"On 26 March, at 0 hours 16 minutes in Uzhgorod City Perinatal Center a girl who met the criteria for a healthy baby was born, but two hours after the birth, the baby died.
Therefore, at the direction of the Uzhgorod Prosecutor, officers of the city police department recorded this fact in the Unified registry of pre-trial investigations and initiated preliminary investigations. The prosecutors of Uzhgorod keep the investigation under control" – quote from the notice of the press service of the regional prosecutor’s office.
