Oleksandr Ledyda volunteered to help with the costs of traveling. On Monday, April 1, the head of the region met the young singer Daniela Yakobchuk and her teachers - the manager of children's group "Perlinka" Mariya Mudraninets and the headmistress of the Uzhgorod Music School Olena Okhrym.

Thirteen-year-old Transcarpathian singer Daniela Yakobchuk three times has been in the final qualifying competition for the Eurovision from Ukraine. She filed the application for the prestigious European festival in San Remo (Italy) in late 2012. A little over a week ago she received an invitation to participate in the competitive program.

   - Ukraine is for the second time represented at this prestigious competition, and Transcarpathia - for the first time! And it is already a victory for us and for this talented singer - the headmistress of the music school, where Daniela studies, Olena Okhrym says. - She was selected among two thousand participants, and for the performance on the big stage they invite only twenty artists.

It takes almost 2.5 thousand euro to take part in the festival - the participants themselves pay their own travel and accommodation expenses, orchestra and others.

Oleksandr Ledyda remarked that such talented children must be helped. Thus, the head of the region will assume the costs related to the competition.
