Transcarpathian tourists gather under Paulownia

Flowering Paulownia or "princess tree in the center of Uzhgorod gathers tourists.

No one knows precisely how old the tree is, but locals state that not less than a hundred years, according to Green Transcarpathia . The tree grows in the town center and is now perhaps the most important of its decorations.

Amazing light-purple flowers similar to bells appeared in early May.

In Ukraine fruitful Paulownia plants grow in Uzhgorod and Odesa. In Kyiv, this kind of tree is growing in the A. Fomin Botanical Garden . It's homeland is Southeast Asia.
