Among the many issues, at the meeting of the Executive Committee of Uzhgorod City Council they also considered draft decisions on the confirmation of trading activities for retail outlets and approval of non-stop operation mode, which provoked lively discussion.

In Uzhgorod, there was the joint board of prosecutors on the prevention of crimes. It was proposed to work with entrepreneurs in order to install video surveillance cameras not only in establishments with non-stop operation mode but in all commercial establishments operating in the city - the Mayor of Uzhgorod said.

Victor Pogorelov said that it would be good to insatll outdoor surveillance cameras at each store, cafe, bar in order to monitor the situation around the establishment. Members of the Executive Committee decided that on every issuance of permit to conduct business, entrepreneurs should be advised to install video surveillance system.

The City Prosecutor Ivan Shtefaniuk proposed to develop the layout of cameras in Uzhgorod. It was also noted that during this month, 15 additional surveillance cameras were installed at the entrances to and exits from the city.
