The prosecutors are investigating into the activity of the "Mukachivvodokanal"

As a result of checking the compliance with the labor legislation in Mukachevo city utility "Mukachivvodokanal", the prosecution of Mukachevo entered to the Unified register of pre-trial investigations the information with the legal classification of the criminal offense under Part 1, Art. 175 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine (unfounded non-payment of wages exceeding one month, done intentionally by the company).

According to deputy prosecutor of the city of Mukachevo Mykhailo Dykovets, the check revealed that during the period from November 2012 to February 2013, the management of the enterprise, in violation of Art. 43 of the Constitution of Ukraine, Articles 115, 116, 117 of the Labour Code of Ukraine and the Law of Ukraine "On labor" intentionally, unreasonably failed to pay wages to employees totaling over 686,000 UAH.

Pre-trial investigation on the criminal proceeding was assigned to the investigator of the Investigating Department of the Mukachevo City Office of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine in Transcarpathian region

Part 1 of Art. 175. - Non-payment of wages, stipends, pensions or other statutory payments (punishable by a fine of one hundred to three hundred tax-free minimum incomes, or deprivation of the right to occupy certain positions or engage in certain activities for a term up to five years, or correctional labor for up to two years or imprisonment for up to two years with deprivation of the right to occupy certain positions or engage in certain activities for a term up to three years).
