Mukachevo policemen were immediately told who the thief was, but they found him only a year later

Recently detectives of the criminal investigation department arrested the robber, who for a year had been hiding from the investigation for committed robbery.

As the detective Serhiy Ryaboshapka told, in June 2012, Mukachevo city police station received a statement from a local resident about a committed robbery. A woman reported that a burglar had broken a window and entered a private home, where at that time there was her minor 13-year-old daughter. The robber was a former partner of her mother, so she immediately recognized the man. He was hostile and tried to take something of value from the building. When the girl realized that, she started to make noise. Then the robber grabbed the tablet computer, which was laying on the table, and ran out of the house.

Then the police arrived at the place, they interviewed the victim and immediately began to carry out a number of priority actions aimed at establishing possible witnesses and the person involved in the commission of a criminal act. The next day, the police had some positive results - they identified the attacker. For a long time the villain managed to avoid meeting with the police, but due to their professionalism and commitment, a few days ago the cuffs closed on the villain's hands.

Now the man, who for a long time had been wanted by the police, has been brought to criminal liability under Part 3 of Article 186 (robbery, combined with breaking and entering). Now the previously convicted resident of Mukachevo, who already has been prosecuted for such property crimes, faces imprisonment for a term of 4 to 8 years. The pre-trial investigation continues.
