In Uzhgorod weapons just lie around on the streets

May 15 at 9:15 am, the Rescue Service of Transcarpathia was reported that in Skhidny neighborhood, on Serednyanska street, an object similar to the explosive had been detected.

The dangerous object near the road was found by a passerby who reported it immediately to the emergency service.

The pyrotechnic team of the special rescue unit of the Emergencies State Service of Ukraine Office in Transcarpathian region immediately arrived at the scene. Pyrotechnics found out that the dangerous discovery was an 82-millimeter mortar mine of World War II period.

This explosive was removed and disposed of.

The police are establishing the circumstances of the case.
