In Uzhgorod, 40 brides will not marry

The sixth Bride Parade will be held in Uzhgorod on June 30. Registration of women and girls who want to join the event in a wedding dress began last week. More than 40 people have already registered. This was announced at the press conference by the organizers Mykola Anbrokh and Denis Lahodin.

"It is becoming more and more difficult to arrange the parade, because every year we want to do it even better. We experimented a lot, came up with many various ideas, - Mykola Anbrokh says. - But the people are very interested in the parade, which is evidenced by the number of those willing to participate."

The organizers promise interesting features and records this year. But, so far they have revealed no details.     According to Denis Lahodin, the Bride Parade in Uzhgorod became a real highlight of Transcarpathia and a large number of tourists come specifically for this June event.  During previous parades several records have been set: the longest veil, the longest wedding cloth, the biggest cake and many others.

This year's Bride Parade was announced with the photo exhibition in the Mustard Seed lane. For the second time, the selection of the best photos has been exhibited there.

The organizers note that participants themselves must prepare a dress and bouquet. Take care about make-up and other trinkets. Everything else is the responsibility of the organizing committee. Also they will determine the most original participants, dresses, bouquets and more.

The registration for the parade will last for another 2.5 weeks. And the organizers - Transcarpathian league of KVN, "Nye ponyal" holiday corporation, the Department of Tourism of UzhNU - will develop a detailed plan to impress demanding Transcarpathian audience and Uzhgorod guests.
