May 14 at 12:31, Khust rescue workers were reported about a fire on Gorky Street, in the town of Vyshkovo. Concerned residents of a three-storey house told that on the top floor bursts of flame and strong smoke was coming out of the roof of two adjacent apartments.

Fire-fighters of the State Fire and Rescue Station number 3 in Vyshkovo as well as firefighters from Khust and Tyachiv arrived at the scene. At 13:49 the fire was localized and at 16:31 - completely eliminated.

The cause of fire and amount of damage is being established. As it turned out, the fire originated in the kitchen of the apartment number 5, which belongs to a 68-year-old local resident.Then, the fire, through the wooden ceiling and the loft, where a lot of flammable objects was stored, spread to the neighboring apartment.

The fire destroyed the roof and the ceiling of the residential building over the area of 180 square meters and damaged belongings and property of apartments owners.

Fire-fighters rescued four apartments from destruction. Fortunately, there were no injured and killed people because, at the time of the fire, there was nobody home.
