"A shameless misappropriation is planned at the meeting of the Uzhgorod City Council"

Oleksandr Volosyansky, a former member of the executive committee of Uzhgorod City Council, at his page on Facebook said: "A shameless misappropration of parks, green and adjacent areas is planned at the meeting of the Uzhgorod City Council on May 31".

"It is proposed to lease the following land plots: an area of 0.03 hectares to serve personal property on Pidhradska street, 33/5 (para. 1.4 project number 908), which is a part of the parkland of the "Pidzamkovy" protected area; an area of 0.0938 hectares for the construction and maintenance of tourist infrastructure and catering facilities on Bozdosky Park street, 2 (para. 1.6 project number 911), which is a part of the parkland of the "Bozdosky" protected area; an area of 0,017 hectares to serve personal property on Svoboda ave. (para. 1.5 project number 908), which is a part of the adjacent areas green space of common use.

Also it is proposed to grant "Uzhgorodmiskbud" LLC the plot in area of 29.7 sq.m. to serve their own commercial premises on Belinsky street, 13 "b" (para. 1.19 project number 908). That is, now the developer of the so-called "hardscaping element" in area of 73 sq.m. in the adjacent area to the house number 13 on Belinsky street, calls it "their own commercial premises", despite the absence of any documents of title to such property and the fact that the developer himself claimed that it is "temporary structures", or is it a permanent building, sir developer?

I also want to inform on such item of the City Council decision, as the renewal of the 5 years lease agreement with the "Phoebe" LLC for the land plot of 0.22 hectares for the construction of retail and office center on  Kyryl i Mefodiy square (para. 1.14 project number 915). This is the area near the "Ukraina" department store, which throughout the lease term was not being built up, that is the terms of such agreement concluded 5-7 years ago were clearly violated, and on that basis at the previous session the developer was denied the prolongation of the lease. However, as we can see, by fullfiling "certain conditions" of the mayor's office, the issue of prolongation has been solved"- Oleksandr Volosyansky wrote.
