Transcarpathian roads are not the worst... (POLL)

It's no secret that the state of Ukrainian roads leaves a lot to be desired. It hurts everyone, both carriers and car owners. The most common breakdowns are bent wheels and broken shock absorbers. Even at the Cabinet meeting Mykola Azarov informed that due to the poor state of roads Ukraine loses up to 4% of GDP.

IA RegioNews conducted a survey among readers of the site entitled "In what region of Ukraine the roads are the worst?".

The first three positions of the anti-rating are occupied by Lviv (9%), Zhytomyr (8%) and Kyiv (7%) regions. Chernihiv, Cherkasy and Ternopil regions received the same number of votes (4%). Ivano-Frankivsk, Luhansk, Odesa, Kharkiv, Mykolaiv and Kirovograd regions have slightly fewer votes (3%). Only 2% of respondents named Poltava, Vinnytsia, Khmelnytsky, Donetsk, Sumy, Dnipropetrovsk, Kherson and Transcarpathian regions. Among all roads, the least critisized are Volyn, Rivne, Chernivtsi and Zaporizhzhya regions (1% each). Nobody voted for the Crimean roads. Most respondents (24%) believe that all of Ukraine has the poor state of roads. In total, about 700 people participated in the survey.

Pollsters of the Gallup Institute recognized Ukrainian roads among the worst in the world. Behind the Ukraine were only African states, Moldova and Mongolia.
