Transcarpathian government is compiling a database of teachers and pupils

On June, in Transcarpathia they started developing the information system for education management in the region. It is planned to introduce a single regionwide electronic education database, automate management activities at all levels, simplify workflow.

The system is planned to be commenced on the first of September. It will include a database of staff and students of secondary schools. The system structure will consist of three levels: basic - general education establishments, regardless of ownership, medium - local authorities (departments) of education, and higher levels - Department of Education and Science, Youth and Sport of the Regional State Administration, Transcarpathian Institute of Postgraduate Education.

            Mykhailo Danashevsky, a manager of the regional training center at the Department of Education and Science, Youth and Sport of the Regional State Administration and Victor Oros, the head of natural science and mathematics teaching methods department of the Transcarpathian Institute of Postgraduate Education were appointed as curators of the project in the region.
