The most impressive Slovak delegation visited Transcarpathia
The Slovak delegation, which is visiting Transcarpathia, includes writers, journalists, academics, members of the Slovak Parliament. As noted at the meeting with the officials of the region that took place today, June 5, at the Transcarpathian Regional State Administration, it is the first time such a delegation has ever visited Transcarpathian region.
During their several days stay, guests from Slovakia have met with students of Uzhgorod National University, become acquainted with the work of the Slovak language school number 4 in Uzhgorod, and presented a novel by Slovak writer Joseph Banash "Zone of inspiration." The Ukrainian translation of the book was published in Uzhgorod, and the book is dedicated, inter alia, to the common history of the two countries, starting from 1968, the press center of the Transcarpathian Regional State Administration reported.
