The Constitution Day is already being celebrated in the region

On Thursday, June 27, in the lobby of the Regional State Administration building there were celebrations to mark the Day of the Constitution of Ukraine. The event was attended by the curator of Transcarpathia in the Cabinet, the Minister of Ecology and Natural Resources Oleg Proskuryakov, the head of the RSA Oleksandr Ledyda, the regional council chairman Ivan Baloha, MP of Ukraine Ivan Bushko and other distinguished guests.

 

Addressing the audience, the head of the region Oleksandr Ledyda said:

           - 68 years ago, Transcarpathian region became part of the country, then the native residents identified themselves as the Ukrainians. This is a significant date for each Transcarpathian. And 17 years ago, the Parliament adopted the Constitution of Ukraine, which gave us the opportunity to be creators of the future of our country.

- June 28, 1996 is a striking example of how different political parties united for the sake of the state - Oleg Proskuryakov said. - Only together we can develop the country, achieve a decent standard of living. 
            On the occasion of the holiday, diplomas of the Regional State Administration were awarded to Bohdan Bilyak, Vasyl Honak, Pavlo Danylyak, Vasyl Yovbak, Yaroslav Lazur, Ivan Moshkola, Arpad Sabov. Gratitudes of the Head of the RSA were announced to Yosyp Droshkovtsiy, Mariya Movnar, Raisa Surovykina.
