Take a deep breath: in Uzhgorod the air as polluted as in Dnipropetrovsk
In 2012, the highest level of air pollution, estimated by the complex air pollution index (API), was registered in five cities of Ukraine - Odesa, Gorlivka, Armiansk, Slovyansk and Dniprodzerzhyns'k.
High levels of pollution was recorded in Kyiv, Krasnoperekopsk, Mariupol, Donetsk, Kryvy Rih, Makiyivka, Uzhgorod, Rivne, Dnipropetrovsk, Dzerzhinsk, Rubizhne, Yenakiyeve, Lysychansk, Kherson, Severodonetsk, Zaporizhzhya, Kramatorsk, Mykolayiv and Lutsk.
In the first quarter of 2013, Ukraine reduced emission of pollutants into the atmosphere by 6.65% compared to the same period in 2012 - to 55,182,700 tons.
In particular, the emission of carbon dioxide into the atmosphere during that period was 54,072,100 tons, which is 6.7% less than for the same period in the last year. Emissions of other pollutants into the atmosphere in January-March dropped by 4.4% - to 1,110,600 tons.
At the same time, Ukraine has demonstrated growth only in emissions of methane (belongs to aggressive greenhouse gases) - by 9.2%, to 232,900 tons, metals and their compounds - by 1.6%, to 8,300 tons.
In 2011 and 2012, an increase in emissions of air pollutants from stationary sources was recorded.
рекомендую відбирати показники забруднення не тільки в насичених транспортом точках! тоді, і показники будуть кращими!
а порівнювати Ужгород і Дніпропертровськ і Кривий Ріг - це глупо ....
