"Open hikes" are planned to be held in Transcarpathia
The organizers of open tours plan to launch and regularly hold "Open hikes".
Open city tours have become a major program of entertainment for Uzhgorod residents. Having the experience, the organizers intend to conduct free hikes.
However, transfer costs (travel to the launch pad and back) must be paid by participants. These will be one-day trips, and will be held on Saturdays, once a month.
Hikes will be organized to such sites, which are easy, convenient and cheap to get to. Participants will be accompanied by a doctor and a guide-instructor.
Tours are intended for beginners and people with average physical training. Whenever possible, they will invite photographers who will capture the highlights of the route. Thus, participants will have pictures to remember.
The first hike is planned for the coming weekend. One can hope that the weather will promote outdoor activities in Transcarpathian region.
The goal of the program is to spread active leisure among the population of the regional center, to explore the cultural heritage of Transcarpathia and to promote healthy lifestyles.
There will be both hiking and biking tours. Hikes are conducted with the assistance of the Tourist Information Centre "Tourinform Transcarpathia."
