Center of neurosurgery if the brain of Transcarpathian medicine

June 25, the 5th "Congress of Neurosurgeons of Ukraine" is held in Uzhgorod. The best national and foreign experts of neurosurgery will come to the congress.    

Center of Neurosurgery and Neurology has been working in Uzhgorod as an independent medical structures for 7 years. During this time, our center admitted 65,000 patients, of whom – more than 10,000 people received in-patient care. On average the center operates 850 patients per year, 20% of which are urgent. Modern diagnostic equipment: CT, MRI, etc. allow doctors to define an accurate diagnosis and prescribe early treatment.

Now the Centre of Neurosurgery and Neurology has 37 doctors of whom 15 are neurosurgeons, 4 neurologists, 9 anesthetists, otorhinolaryngologist, psychiatrist, ophthalmologist, cardiologist, pediatrician, rehabilitation specialist, orthopaedist and 2 radiologists.

Plenary and breakout sessions will be moderated by the Centre director, Professor Volodymyr Smolanka and the first class neurosurgeon, MD Yuri Chomolyak.
