The head of the land use and protection department of the State Land Agency office in Uzhgorod district, promised to grant the lease of 10 hectares of land for 35,000 U.S. dollars.
Prosecutor’s office initiated criminal proceedings under Part 4 of Article 368 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine against the head of the land use and protection department of the State Land Agency office in Uzhgorod district, Transcarpathian region.
The manager demanded from a citizen M. an illegal profit in the amount of 35,000 dollars for assistance, using his official position, in granting her a lease of 10 hectares land plot in the village of Patskanyovo in Uzhgorod district.
Upon the receipt of the agreed amount, the official was arrested by officers of the State Security Service of Ukraine in Transcarpathian region.
