A crook cheated 10,000 UAH out of an Uzhgorod pensioner. Beware

An unidentified man called the woman on a cell phone from a hidden number, said that he was an investigator and that her son had committed a traffic accident, hitting a boy. For this, he may be prosecuted, so if she wants to save her son from prison, she must transfer the money in the amount of ten thousand hryvnias. Then the man handed the phone to the "son" (at least the victim claims that the voice was very similar to the voice of her son) who confirmed the "investigator's" words and begged the mother to immediately transfer the money ...

The trusting woman did that and transferred the specified amount of money. Only later, having realized that she had been deceived, the victim called the police.

The fraudster is wanted by the police, who warn the citizens: be careful and do not believe fraudsters, whoever they may say they are.
