In Uzhgorod, the city government has established an operational control center for the preparation to the heating season of 2013-2014. The center was established to organize operational control over the timely preparation of the economic sector, enterprises and institutions of the public sector for the autumn-winter conditions.
The first deputy mayor Vitaliy Semal was appointed as the head of the center. It also includes the heads of the city council departments, heads of housing offices, the head of Uzhgorod City Electric Networks of the "Zakarpattyaoblenergo" PJSC Volodymyr Herzanych and the head of Gas Supply System Operation Department of the "Zakarpathaz" PJSC Taras Stehura. The staff of the center shall meet every two months.
