July 14, in Vynogradiv district there will be two celebrations of the same event: in the village of Vylok – the holiday "Turul", and in the village of Pyiterfolvo – the folklore festival "KurutsFest."
According to the head of the district branch of the TUKZ – KMKS Yosyp Borto, the holiday in Vylok is dedicated to the uprising of 1703-1711, which was held under the leadership of Ferenc Rákóczi II. The event will begin with theatrical procession from the center of the village to the "Turul" monument to heroes of the liberation struggle, near the Tisa river. The laying of wreaths is scheduled. Afterwards, at about 14. 00, the guests will move to the amusement park in the village of Pyiterfolvo for the "KurutsFest."
Yosyp Borto asks Vynogradiv District State Administration to assist in enforcing public order and provide emergency doctor at these events.
