The festival was opened by its organizer Pavlo Chuchka, the owner of the inn, who is also known as a satirist. Then, the festival was hosted by Igor Ivankiv.

The festival was attended by humorists not only from different parts of Transcarpathia, but also from Lviv and Ivano-Frankivsk: Mykhailo Chukhran, Vasyl Marovdi, Yuri Melnyk, Andriy Dolchynets, Pavlo Chuchka (Jr.), Ivan Keshelya et al. Among the several hundred spectators there were some Canadian tourists. They gladly danced to the stylized Ukrainian music from the band "Vataga" and tasted traditional Transcarpathian cuisine.

This year's festival was special by the fact that, in addition to Transcarpathian comics, the spectators were entertained by Odessa show band of African descent "Black Stars", who performed famous Ukrainian songs.
