In Uzhgorod, a scammer trying to steal 2,000 UAH from a pensioner

Yesterday, a 61-year-old pensioner reported to Uzhgorod police that an unknown person had called on her cell phone and said that her 40-year-old unemployed son had gotten in trouble and in order to release him from the responsibility she had to transfer the money in the amount of UAH 2,000 on one of the private banks account. The woman did not transfer the money, and called the police. The police are searching for the scammer.
