On Thursday, July 18, there was the meeting of the Standing Committee of the Regional Council, which was held by its chairman Vasyl Brenzovych. At the meeting, they read the report on the implementation of the regional budget and discussed the changes to the regional budget. The report was read by the Acting Director of Financial Department of the Regional State Administration Mykhailo Petrishka.

The Committee was recommended to make the following changes to the budget - to reduce undistributed balance of the special fund by 1 million 218 thousand hryvnias and distribute it to repay the debt in tariffs for water supply and sewerage to the following districts: Volovets - 1 million 208 thousand, Mizhhirya - 19 thousand and Svalyava - 171 thousand

Also Mykhailo Petrishka informed the Committee on the implementation of the regional budget for the first quarter of this year. During this period, the budget received 62 million 136 thousand hryvnias, budget is implemented at 94.5%. The official said the situation with budget revenues for the first half of this year is also not perfect - a total of 95.6%. The main source of General Fund revenues is a tax on personal income, its share is 85%. For the first quarter, the tax plan is executed only at 92%, ie the shortfall of the regional budget is almost 4.5 million hryvnias. The budget item "income tax" is only 38% complete.   Also the Acting Director of the Financial Department Mykhailo Petrishka said that in Uzhgorod state employees are paid with delay - now they receive salaries for June.
