August in Transcarpathia will be the hottest, meteorologists say

This year's summer is quite unpredictable. Transcarpathia has experienced squalls and storms, extreme temperatures, rain showers. Residents of mountainous areas were the least fortunate. Meteorologists told what the weather in Transcarpathia until the end of the summer would be like.

"Currently, the weather has purely summer character, warm and dry. Unfortunately, in the third decade of July, there will be a little rainfall, even in the mountainous part of the region. Larger showers with thunderstorms in mountainous areas and in some locations in the lowlands, though brief and with interruptions, may be on 28-29 of July" - the Deputy Head of the Transcarpathian Hydrometeorological Center Vasylyna Blokh said.

She said that the temperature would rise. At night, the temperature will reach 13 to 18 °, during the day - 23 to 28 above zero, at the end of the month - up to 28-33 °.

"As for August, it will probably be the hottest summer month - Vasylyba Blokh says. - This month maximum day temperatures often reach above 29 - 34 º, on some days up to 35 ° above zero."

According to experts, in general, August in Transcarpathia will be rich in thunderstorms and rains.

For those people who believe in omens about the weather, a Ukrainian calendar for August can be useful. For example, if sparrows fly in flocks, there will be a dry and clear weather. If it is cloudy, and the bees do not hide in the hive but fly in a field, it will not rain. If after a rain there is a rainbow in the sky, on the third day it will rain again. Clean sunrise - for dry weather.
