July 5, about 8 o’clock in the morning, an unknown person reported to the police about the road accident that had occurred in the village of Chynadiyevo in Mukachevo district. The investigative team and traffic polimen, who arrived at the scene, found out that as a result of the accident one person was killed, four injured, including one minor.
According to preliminary reports, a 48-year-old driver of a truck "MAZ-53371", driving from the village of Vilkhovytsya to the regional highway Svalyava-Mukachevo, did not give way to the car "AZLK-2140", which resulted in the collision. In the passenger car, apart from a 17-year-old driver, there were four passengers.
Due to the accident, one of the passengers who was sitting in the front passenger seat of the "Moskvich", died from his injuries on the spot. Others, with injuries of varying severity, were hospitalized in the district hospital casualty department. The truck driver was injured in the accident.
Causes and circumstances of the accident will be established by investigators.
