The management of Transcarpathian regional organization of the UPP persistently asks the police to protect Tyachiv district business against raider and racket attacks.

According to the head of the Transcarpathian UPP Ivan Gabor - "February 5, 2013, private entrepreneur, deputy of Tyachiv District Council from the Ukrainian People's Party - Kutsyna Ivan Mykhailovich (the village of Bushtyno) - was approached by a group of people who "insisted" on entering into agreement "on the protection of the enterprise against forcible takeovers and the protection of the family." This was done boldly in broad daylight, like in 90 years of the last century.  The deputy refused to conduct any negotiations with them and immediately appealed to the management of regional security services, prosecutors and police naming the license plates of the "unknown guests'" car. However, several days have passed, and the applicant has not been asked to give explanations, Kutsyna has not received any official response, no measures have been taken."

Also, in his appeal to law enforcement officials, the head of the regional organization notes that Kutsyna I.M. is known in Transcarpathia athlete, boxing coach, who trained world champion in kickboxing, and a philanthropist. He supports the high school, other schools, maintains sports clubs at his own expense. "February 4th, Ivan Kutsyna arranged the meeting of teachers and students of Bushtyno Humanitarian Gymnasium with the first deputy chairman of the Union of Writers of Ukraine Volodymyr Shovkoshytny, and the next day Mr. Kutsyna was offered questionable services of the so-called "protection" - Ivan Gabor says.
