New shelters for refugees won't be built in Transcarpathia

This was announced today, February 26, by the head of the State Migration Service of Ukraine in the Transcarpathian region Igor Mykhaylyshyn.

According to him, now there are two shelters for refugees in the region - in Mukachevo and Perechyn. After the elimination of the centers for detention of illegal migrants in Pavshyno, there have been no such centers in the region. Detained migrants are transported to Lutsk, where there is the special center.

Despite the voiced in recent years statements on the construction of several similar centers for illegal migrants in Transcarpathian region, Igor Mykhaylyshyn said that currently it is not necessary to open such centers in our region, because the institution in Lutsk fully complies with all regulations, moreover, it is empty most of the time.
